The European Biogas Association (EBA) welcomes the European Commissions forthcoming proposal for a Circular Economy Act. Biogases systems exemplify the circular bioeconomy in action. Fully bio-based, they rely on sustainable biomass feedstocks such as sequential crops, agricultural residues, animal by-products, bio-waste, industrial organic waste, wastewater and sewage sludge. Their circularity is threefold.
