The Federation of Austrian Industries (IV) welcomes the ambition to transfer to a sustainable economy supported by low-carbon modes of transport and supports regulation that benefits companies due to greater legal certainty and less administrative burden.
A recent study by the Institute of Industrial Science on the consequences of Aarhus judgements by the European Court of Justice shows that 86 % of the companies surveyed expect significant legal uncertainty.
