We agree to increase funding for Erasmus+. We have strong reservations about preventing secondary vocational schools from entering the “School Cooperation” project and ask for the possibility to participate again in this project activity to be restored. For several years, we have built very productive and fruitful international cooperation for our students and colleagues.

MedTech Europe represents the medical technology industries both medical devices and in vitro diagnostics as these are global industries competing on the global market the actions and activities of the EU on the global stage have had a significant impact on the competitiveness of our sector globally and we therefore encourage a continued investment from the EU funding its external action.
We welcomed the significant increase in resources for external action under the Global Europe instrument, albeit with some caution. The introduction of the flexibility principle in this new MFF allows funds to be transferred between different priorities, which may reduce the amount actually available for external action.

Agree on new Own Resources. Ensure decommitments flow back to the budget line of origin.

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) welcomes the Commissions proposal for the next EU budget and its ambition to maintain a strong external action envelope. However, the proposed shift from a development cooperation policy framed around human development towards a policy embedded in a new economic foreign policy to address geopolitical and geoeconomic challenges risks undermining the EUs mandate to eradicate poverty.
DSW commends the increase in funding allocated to the external action instrument, Global Europe. A budget of EUR 200 billion will enable the EU to contribute more ambitiously to achieving sustainable development, poverty eradication, and peace and security globally and in Europe. However, it will be key to ensure that a high share of this funding complies with ODA standards.

We agree with the note of Mendel University. While the proposed funding increase for the Erasmus+ program is a step forward, it remains insufficient to meet the growing demand for mobility opportunities across Europe and beyond.
Erasmus Plus enables international cooperation in academia, both for students and staff. However, in order to further support and develop this cooperation, the budget for implementation needs to be increased year-on-year, at least to reflect the inherent cost of living and travel, but also in the light of inflation and wage increases for workers in the sector.

CEE Bankwatch Network welcomes the increase of the budget for external action. However, the target for climate and environment of 30% for Global Europe is not enough for enlargement countries and must be increased to at least the level of the overall MFF whose target should itself be increased to at least 50%.
Hello, our language school has been actively participating in Erasmus+ – Ka1 and KA2 projects in adult education for many years. Erasmus+ projects are key to moving our language school forward, maintaining quality at European level, innovation and learning new things.

While the proposed funding increase for the Erasmus+ program is a step forward, it remains insufficient to meet the growing demand for mobility opportunities across Europe and beyond. Universities in the European Union are seeing an unprecedented rise in demand from students and staff seeking international mobility, whether for academic exchanges, research collaborations, or professional development.
I welcome the proposed EU long-term budget (MFF 20282034) as an ambitious framework, but I consider it insufficient to meet the current and future needs of the European Union. It is crucial to increase it in several strategic areas: 1. Education and mobility Erasmus+ Increased allocation to Erasmus+ is a step in the right direction, but it still does not reflect the actual demand or potential of the programme.

On behalf of our school, we would like to express strong support for the Erasmus+ programme and call for a significant increase in funding for school education and other education sectors in the next Multiannual Financial Framework. We see Erasmus+ as one of the most impactful EU instruments.
As a mobility coordinator, I have long seen a significant excess of students’ interest in mobility abroad over the financial capacity of faculties to support these applications. The current budget does not allow all quality candidates to be met, so many motivated students have to refrain from mobility even if they meet both academic and linguistic requirements.

We ask for an increase in the budget for mobility in KA131-HED-Higher Educational Mobility of Individuals. In any case, it is not enough for every student or employee to benefit from this project, as it would be appropriate for the internationalisation, dissemination and sharing of EU values, especially in the context of the European Alliance projects’ goal of increasing mobility by 50 %.

As coordinator of Erasmus+ accreditation at our school, I have to say that the funding provided does not meet the interest and needs of our school. Teachers and pupils who would like to participate are rejected for financial reasons. We received almost half the amount of money we asked for this year. Interest is growing and teachers would like to continue their lifelong learning under the Erasmus+ programme.

As an Erasmus+ coordinator and Intercultural communication trainer at a Czech HEI, I would appreciate larger budget for all activities - related not only to E+ mobilities but especially financial and institutional support for projects that aim to progress in the field of internationalisation at home and internationalisation of curriculum.
Hello, I have an important comment on Erasmus+: it is very important to strengthen the budget of Erasmus+, in particular for the VET sector and secondary schools. Erasmus+ is one of the most successful European programmes, and interest in it has been growing year on year. Unfortunately, the budget does not grow at the same pace.

Hello, Erasmus+ is an amazing project, the primary school and the Leoš Janáčka school was involved as a partner school in 2015-2017 with Yes for traditional dishes, no more obesity. In the future, I would like to re-engage with the school, which is an indisputable experience that has to be experienced. Erasmus+ should continue.

I very much appreciate the European Erasmus+ programme. I consider its existence to be one of the most beneficial tools to strengthen Europeanism, build common values, train, increase individual and common self-esteem. I strongly propose to significantly increase the financial capacity of this programme in order to develop further collaborative and mutual learning projects.

As a beneficiary of the Erasmus+ programme, which was accredited in 2021, the programme has enabled us to develop underprivileged students and has enabled students of any socioeconomical background to gain experience abroad. At this point allow me to state the fact that especially in the category of School Education, Erasmus+ programme makes a bigger impact than in e.g.
I support a significant increase in the Erasmus+ budget beyond 2027. I know from my own practice that schools’ interest in international cooperation is growing, but the current budget is not enough. Many quality projects are not supported, limiting opportunities for pupils, teachers and communities alike.

UNICEF calls on the European Union to place childrens rights at the heart of its external action, emphasizing that strategic investments in children through ODA are not only morally imperative but also deliver exceptional social and economic returns. Every euro invested in children generates tenfold social value, with specific interventionssuch as immunization, nutrition, and educationyielding even higher returns.
We welcome the substantial increase in funding for external action under the Global Europe Instrument, albeit with caution, as the flexibility principle of this new MFF could make it easy to shift funding from one priority to another, hence decreasing funding for external action.

The European Youth Forum is the largest platform for youth organisations operating globally - representing over 100 youth organisations, 6,000 members of members and over 40 million young people. This includes organisations and young people in EU candidate countries.

Please see attachment for full feedback. Summary: Key Messages -The EU must maintain its full 1.98 trillion MFF ambition to meet global needs and uphold its credibility as a geopolitical actor. -Only 17% of SDG targets are on track; fragile contexts are falling behind and driving instability, displacement, and food insecurity.
> I. Recommendations re. Global Europe (IFF 20282034): The new Global Europe Instrument should maximize the mobilization of private capital, which most effectively contributes to economic development. This should be achieved in a manner consistent with the goals of the Members States. In the case of Poland eg.

We welcome that the Global Europe Instrument will fund investment in health infrastructure, building on successful initiatives especially in the European neighbourhood and enlargement candidate countries.
