The Confederation of Danish Employers (DA) appreciates the oppor-tunity to provide input on the Commissions call for evidence on the upcoming European strategy for vocational education and training. DA welcomes the Commissions ambition to promote vocational edu-cation and training programmes, to tackle labour and skills shortages and mismatches and boost European competitiveness.
Please see attached file. We share the goal of a stronger, more resilient European Union capable of addressing shared challenges. However, this must not come at the cost of Europes productive base. Introducing new EU-level fiscal burdens and expanding the administrative apparatus risk sending the wrong signal to investors and innovators at a critical juncture.
