The Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK) would like to thank for the opportunity to participate in the discussion on the future of Europe's digital infrastructure. The White paper of the future of the digital infrastructure needs is welcomed. Mutual understanding of the Europes digital infrastructure strengths and weaknesses is a base for Europes digital competitiveness.

2030 policy programme “Path to the Digital Decade”

In its ‘2030 Digital Compass’ Communication in March 2021 and policy programme in September 2021, the Commission set out digital targets to achieve the next decade. The Confederation of Finnish Industries EK supports the Commission’s initiative. The Commission’s Digital Decade proposal setting up a governance framework to ensure Europe reached its 2030 Digital Decade objectives is welcomed.
