We share the European Commission's view that improved and more efficient management of the existing building stock is a crucial lever in adressing housing shortages. Against this background, we would like to emphasise that reliable building energy data is essential for planning renovations in a targeted and economically sensible manner.

Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 326 consultation files tracked so far (29,503 submissions, mostly 2025–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.

What they argued
Techem appreciates the Commissions initiative to provide draft guidance accompanying the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing consultation. Please find our detailed input in the document we have uploaded.
"To fight climate change, to provide our people with affordable clean energy, for our own security, energy efficiency needs to be at the core of everything we do," as Commissioner Jørgensen aptly stated. Therefore, at Techem, we strongly support the Heating and Cooling Strategy and welcome the opportunity to share advice based on our extensive practical experience.
Techem welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Digital Action Plan for the Water Sector and supports the ambition of the European Commission to enhance water efficiency and resilience across the EU building stock.
Energy efficiency is central to achieving the EUs objectives on affordable energy and housing, decarbonisation, and system resilience. The building sector plays a pivotal role in this context: according to Eurostat, buildings account for approximately 40% of final energy consumption in the EU, and around 80% of the energy used in households is consumed for heating, cooling and hot water.
Operating in 15 EU countries, we actively leverage the EU Single Market to deliver value to our customers in submetering (heat and water), who benefit from increased competition, the entry of innovative service providers and the possibility of scaling services across borders.
