We are a coastal geomorphology group at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, working on shoreline change, sediment dynamics, sea-level reconstruction, coastal hazards and nature-based solutions. Our detailed contribution is attached. European ocean research and innovation is well instrumented offshore and increasingly well instrumented for marine ecology.
As coordinator (or PI) of several EU funded projects in the frame of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe I welcome the opportunity to contribute evidence to the evaluation of Regulation (EU) No 511/2014.
