FMG supports the objectives of the Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA) and considers that the Centre should be established as a delivery-oriented instrument for strengthening Europes security of supply.
Summary of FMGs position Finnish Minerals Group (FMG) welcomes the draft Delegated Act and its aim to secure the availability of recycled lithium, nickel and cobalt inside the Union. However, as stated in the draft, the availability of recycled content for these metals is, and will remain, insufficient to meet the obligations of Article 8 on the timelines set out in Regulation (EU) 2023/1542.
