The Flood Protection and Spatial Planning Limburg Programme (WRL) was established following the extreme floods of July 2021. Within WRL, the Province of Limburg, Water Authority Limburg, 31 Limburg municipalities and the Dutch government collaborate to create a water-resilient and climate-resilient Limburg. WRL provides valuable insights for the European R&I Strategy for Water Resilience.
