EuroISPA, the European Internet Services Providers Association, welcomes the European Commissions efforts to simplify the EU digital regulatory framework through the Digital Omnibus Package. A forward-looking and ambitious simplification agenda is essential to strengthen Europes competitiveness, enhance legal certainty, and ensure that the EU digital acquis is fit for the next decade.

EuroISPA represents Europe's internet services providers industry, the associations of ISPs across EU Member States, giving voice to the companies that build and operate the continent's digital infrastructure. We welcome the European Commission's proposed Digital Networks Act and share its objectives of modernising, harmonising, and future-proofing the EU's electronic communications framework.

Given the latest discussions at trilogues level,EuroISPA would like to reiterate its key positions on the proposed Regulation laying down rules to prevent and combat child sexual abuse (CSAM Regulation) that could be extrapolated to other points to the Action Plan on protecting children against crime.
