The attached paper contains EPF's response to the Passenger Mobility Package, focusing on the Passenger Rights proposals. Multimodal passenger rights: welcome as a first step in the right direction, but better protection needed for combined multimodal tickets. Enforcement: some improvements, but no game-changing new provisions.

The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions considers that the Regulation should not apply to journeys by local and regional public transport, but only to long-distance journeys. For local and regional public transport, adequate passenger rights are generally available in the Member States.
