On behalf of Fellesforbundet, (Federation of trade unions in Norway,) I will here submit our consultation response in the case of possible changes in the driving and rest time regulations for buses and coaches Fellesforbundet is the largest trade union in the private sector in Norway with a total of about 160,000 members. We organize in many occupational groups - including bus drivers.
We propose the following reforms targeted at bus and coach transport in the EU’s Driving and Rest Time Regulation. Break provisions: A break of 45 minutes (4.5 hours per driving) could be divided into 3 parts, each of at least 15 minutes.
