The Austrian Social Insurance welcomes the European Commissions initiative aimed at strengthening labour mobility across Europe. We fully support its commitment to a further modernisation, digitalisation and simplification of social security coordination, where appropriate. However, we would like to emphasise that EU social security coordination policy can already draw on a strong and well-established system.
