The TMUEN welcomes the initiative for a proposal for a directive to strengthen the role of consumers in the transition to a green economy. Consumers can make a not inconsiderable contribution to reducing the environmental impact of consumption. The provision of environmental information empowers consumers to make sustainable purchasing decisions.
