The PFA (Plateforme de la Filière Automobile) welcomes the European Commission’s Data Act proposal and its intention to increase the breadth and depth of data usage within the European Single Market. In our attached position paper (short version), we provide general feedback on the text to feed the legislative debate.
The National association for French OEM and Tier 1 suppliers (PFA) welcomes the Commission's proposal for a regulation of ELV and circularity requirements. The automotive industry is transitioning to fossil-free products and PFA members believe that in all their actions, they must consider how to reduce climate impact, use of the worlds resource more efficiently and conduct business more responsibly.
