MONITORING ZWERFAFVAL 2021 De gemeente Venlo wil de overlast door zwerfafval verminderen en in 2025 een schone gemeente zijn. Daarvoor zullen overlastbronnen op landelijk en lokaal niveau moeten worden aangepakt. Maar voor een goede aanpak van bronnen en het stellen van prioriteiten is het nodig om niet op basis van gevoel maar op basis van feiten te sturen. Dit vraagt om het onderzoeken van zwerfafval.

Het zorgt voor: - Vervuiling van onze leefomgeving, natuur en milieu; - Dierenleed / overlijden van dieren; - Overlast bij bewoners; - Verlies van grondstoffen; - Hoge kosten bij overheden en dus bij bewoners.
