ACEA welcomes Commissions better regulation efforts to enhance competitiveness of European companies. Hence it is positive that Eco-design for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) explicitly does not apply to vehicles, since they are already covered under existing EU sector-specific regulations, including the End-of-Life Vehicle Regulation (ELVR).
