Consultation participation and their own register declarations, side by side. Counts, not judgments — participation is not influence.
Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 583 consultation files tracked so far (42,224 submissions, mostly 2025–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.
Register facts self-declared (snapshot 2 Sept 2026); cost bands are floors. Shared files are shared attention, not evidence of coordination.

Finnish Forest Industries Federation thanks for the opportunity to participate in this call for evidence. Representing one of the biggest industry branches in Finland, forest industries have been actively involved in developing weights and dimensions of road transport for over 25 years.
Trailer Dynamics GmbH explicitly welcomes the EU initiative to increase the total weight of ZEV vehicles to 44 tonnes across Europe. The electrification of the respective vehicles (tracetor or trailer) is associated with an inevitable extra weight due to the e-components, in particular of the battery.

The Finnish Forest Industries Federation thanks for the opportunity to comment on the legislative proposal of the Weights and Dimensions Directive. Based on over 30 years of experience, we see higher weights and dimensions as the solution for more freight to be moved with less emissions in Europe.
Trailer Dynamics explicitly supports the adaptations of EU Directive 2019/1242. In particular, we welcome the definition of the eTrailer with active zero-emission propulsion as a zero-emission heavy-duty vehicle. The decarbonisation of heavy goods through eTrailers can thus become a reality.

Forest industries are one of the biggest freighters in Finland transporting annually over 80 million tons of raw-wood and products within Finland. Wood is collected from forests and terminals all around Finland and transported by rail, road and inland waterways to the factories.
