On behalf of ECOS/EEB/Coolproducts, we welcome the revision of the Ecodesign Regulation for solid fuel local space heaters (EC 2015/1185) The energy crisis which followed the Russian invasion of Ukraine has driven up both the sales of solid fuels and those of solid fuel appliances, as more and more households turned to local space heating when the price of gas went up.
