Compare organizations

Consultation participation and their own register declarations, side by side. Counts, not judgments — participation is not influence.

Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 583 consultation files tracked so far (42,224 submissions, mostly 2025–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.

Road vehicles: maximum weights and dimensions

Logistics in Wallonia · filed 7 Feb 2022 · source

We call for the MMA to be extended to 44 tonnes in the EU, as is the rule in several countries, in particular Benelux and France. The impossibility of crossing the French-Belgian border at 44T is a legal, operational and environmental herese and seems to be the result of exacerbated protectionism. It is also wrong to think that such a measure is to stimulate modal shift towards rail and inland waterways.

Road vehicles: maximum dimensions in national and international traffic and maximum weights in international traffic. Codification

Logistics in Wallonia · filed 17 Dec 2021 · source

It is essential that the maximum authorised mass is set at 44 tonnes and that cross-border passage is also allowed without an application for an additional authorisation of 44 tonnes. The fact that some countries allow the 44 tonnes but limit the crossing of a border is a total incongruity that runs counter to healthy competition and optimal economic and environmental performance.

UNESID · filed 2 Feb 2022 · source

Unesid, representing the steel and first steel processing industry, supports the increase in the maximum mass of lorries to 44 tonnes and the free transit between Member States of vehicles of this tonnage. Each journey by which the load carried is increased from the current approximately 18 t in different MSs to 22 t results in a reduction of CO2 and other pollutants (NOx, SO2, PM2,5...) of 18 % per voyage.
