Consultation participation and their own register declarations, side by side. Counts, not judgments — participation is not influence.
Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 583 consultation files tracked so far (42,224 submissions, mostly 2025–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.
Register facts self-declared (snapshot 2 Sept 2026); cost bands are floors. Shared files are shared attention, not evidence of coordination.

ERPA, the European Rural Poultry Association, welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback on the roadmap regarding the revision of EU marketing standards for agricultural products. Concerning poultry meat and eggs, we note that the recent evaluation of marketing standards proves the effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence and the EU added value of these texts.
Dutch Meat Importers Association (DMIA) The European Marketing Standards for meat and poultrymeat have proven to be a successful and effective instrument for ensuring the continuity and proper functioning of the common market organization within the European Union. Industry, trade, controlling authorities and consumers benefit equally from the application of the marketing standards.
ERPA disagrees with the proposed deletion of the obligation of specific and independent inspections at all stages of production, with a frequency, in case of indications of the types of farming. These controls are necessary, useful, and important to verify the correct application of the Regulation and therefore to give confidence to consumers.
Dutch Meat Importers Associations feedback Already in 2013 an EU study showed that the standards used measuring the water content of poultry meat were incorrect. The EU importers of poultry meat organized in the UECBV have mentioned this in a letter to the EU Commission. One might expect that once the EU legislation on marketing standards would be changed that this incorrectness would be immediately corrected.
