Following the consultation launched by the European Union on renewable energy, the CEPM wishes to highlight the contribution made by its European maize producers to renewable energy production, in particular through methanisation and biofuels.

The ECPM brings together professional and inter-branch organisations whose mission is, in their respective countries, to represent and defend the interests of all or part of the Mediterranean sectors: grain maize, fodder maize, maize seed, sweetcorn. Currently, ten countries join the ECPM: Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Spain.
