Their record over time

Allianz pro Schiene e.V. (Pro-Rail Alliance) filed 1 position on 15 Feb 2022, across 1 of the 326 legislative files tracked here.

What they argued

Road vehicles: maximum weights and dimensionsfiled 15 Feb 2022source

The Alliance for Rail rejects the approval of excessive and over-heavy trucks in Europe. There is already sufficient evidence of the consequences of increasing truck weights and weights, which clearly militate against registration. Heavy goods vehicles can carry significantly more cargo than conventional trucks with slightly higher operating costs, which reduces road transport by about 30 %.
