The General Association of Maize Producers (AGPM) welcomes the European Commission’s initiative on the need for an ambitious approach to preparing the EU for climate change, particularly for agriculture. LAGPM wishes to point out that the cultivation of maize in France brings around 7 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent to the soil each year.
