Building on the Farm Accountancy Data Network, the FSDN compiles data on the three aspects of sustainability to improve the understanding of the sustainability of European agriculture at farm level. The FSDN implementation rules, developed in 2024, can be gradually implemented by Member States through derogations during a transitional period.

The Regional Government of the Azores broadly supports the objective of extending the scope of the information collected through the Farm Sustainability Data Network (FSDN), recognising the added value of this development for a more complete assessment of the economic, environmental and social dimensions of agricultural activity.

The evolution from FADN to FSDN is very positive, and we hope it will help track the efficiency of CAP fund spending. As BeeLife, we have attached our contribution, and we would like to invite the Commission to implement the Pollinator Index within the FSDN. Pollinator Index is more than monitoring just the abundance and richness of pollinators.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) strongly supports the European Commission's expansion of the Farm Sustainability Data Network (FSDN) and views it as an important step toward creating a more comprehensive, evidence-based approach to agricultural sustainability.

I consider it appropriate to move from the FADN to the FSDN, in so far as it makes it possible to take a broader view of the sustainability of agricultural holdings by integrating the economic, environmental and social dimensions.

1. Scope of this contribution This response submits methodological evidence on two capabilities that bear directly on the evaluation criteria of relevance, coherence, and European added value: (a) Federated, cross-border interoperability for environmental data networks; and (b) Auditable, deterministic decision support for environmental policy analysis. It does not propose a product procurement.

ESPP considers it important that the Farm Sustainability Data Network (FSDN) should progressively deliver complete and harmonised datasets across all Member States, including for nutrient management (Tables NM1, NM2 and NM3 of the Annex VIII tables and new FSDN variables).

Agroecology Europe (AEEU) welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback on the European Commission's proposal to postpone the implementation of certain provisions of Regulation (EU) 2024/2746 laying down rules for the application of Council Regulation (EC) No 1217/2009 establishing the Farm Sustainability Data Network (FSDN), following requests from Germany, Ireland, France, Croatia, Poland, Slovenia and Sweden.
While supporting the further implementation of harmonised sustainability data within EU agriculture, we encourage the European Commission to consider the development of an equivalent sustainability data framework for Europe's fisheries sector, particularly small-scale coastal fisheries.

Seravon Labs LLC (Wyoming, United States), operating through Veridex Carbon, is establishing a climate-adaptive livestock and carbon farming pilot in Extremadura, Spain, incorporating farm-level environmental monitoring through IoT sensors, livestock biometric tracking, and soil carbon measurement.
