The conversion of the FADN to FSDN is a very positive and needed development. The experience gathered historically in the collection of standardised accounting data and horizontal data analyses already carried out will allow us to better assess the sustainability of the farming practices in Europe.

What they argued
BeeLife is a European NGO advocating for the protection of pollinators from environmental threats, with particular attention to bees. We are an interface integrating field beekeeping observations (citizens science approach), scientific and policy developments. We are very keen on statistics related to environmental pollutants such as pesticides, biocides and veterinary products. Please find hereby our contribution.
The evolution from FADN to FSDN is very positive, and we hope it will help track the efficiency of CAP fund spending. As BeeLife, we have attached our contribution, and we would like to invite the Commission to implement the Pollinator Index within the FSDN. Pollinator Index is more than monitoring just the abundance and richness of pollinators.
