What they argued
Samfunnsbedriftene welcomes the Commissions review of progress towards the EU waste targets. Norway is currently not on track to meet key recycling targets, including for municipal waste and plastic packaging. Based on the Norwegian experience, we believe that future Early Warning Reports should look beyond reported recycling rates and assess the underlying conditions for achieving the targets.
