Since 1991, the PRO support centre is an organisation that provides low-threshold support and counselling for sex workers and victims of trafficking in human beings. We consider it important to make gender-based violence subject to specific regulation (more inclusive treatment, gender diversity). In our work we have seen that sex workers are at increased risk of becoming victims of gender-based violence.
