The European Commissions review of Regulation (EU) 2019/631 must recalibrate the path towards climate-neutral mobility. Market reality shows that the 2030 and 2035 targets are not achievable under todays conditions. It is therefore imperative to revise these targets and introduce flexibilities, ensuring that the transition remains credible, affordable and safeguards industrial competitiveness.
