Compare organizations

Consultation participation and their own register declarations, side by side. Counts, not judgments — participation is not influence.

Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 583 consultation files tracked so far (42,224 submissions, mostly 2025–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.

Protection of workers from asbestos

Confartigianato Imprese · filed 18 Mar 2022 · source

CONSIDERATIONS ON THE CURRENT STATE The results of the mapping exercise were mixed, not least as a result of the ease with which it is possible to investigate the presence of asbestos in buildings (mainly in the elements of cover, coatings of technological installations and insulation systems).

Asbestos has killed millions of people throughout the 20st century and continues to work in the 21st century. It is high time to amend European legislation to protect all those at risk effectively, whether professionally or simply as a citizen of the European Union. The first important measure to be taken will be to reduce the OEL to 1 fibre per litre and this should be a binding OEL.
