Consultation participation and their own register declarations, side by side. Counts, not judgments — participation is not influence.
Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 583 consultation files tracked so far (42,224 submissions, mostly 2025–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.
Register facts self-declared (snapshot 2 Sept 2026); cost bands are floors. Shared files are shared attention, not evidence of coordination.

Eurogroup for Animals welcomes the planned revision of the EU marketing standards for agricultural products. European citizens clearly indicated that they want farmed animal welfare to be better protected and that they would like to have more information on the way in which animals reared for food are kept.
Since their introduction, the EU marketing standards have assisted in improving farm animal welfare and creating a level playing field for EU farmers and products. The Dierenbescherming is happy with the planned revision of these standards, in order to modernise them and remove any obstacles for improving sustainability.
For more than four decades, Eurogroup for Animals has brought together animal advocates throughout Europe to significantly enhance the welfare and protection of animals. This proposal for a Regulation on the welfare of dogs and cats and their traceability has been extremely well-received, introducing much-needed measures regarding the traceability of cats and dogs, breeding practices, and imported animals.
Dear Commission, please find enclosed the reply of the Dutch Association for the Protection of Animals (Animal Welfare) to the EC legislative proposal on dogs and cats and their traceability. The Welfare and Conservation of Animals warmly welcomes the emergence of legislation in this area.
