I am a Ceramist, I work alone in my workshop and I am a “very” small business. But every day I bring my stone to the building! Forcing me to do these tests is not realistic to the extent that handicraft parts do not lend themselves and I would be obliged to abandon my crockery production!!!!! And this is not the cost of such tests.

Dear, I have worked in France in my professional capacity as a sole trader for 14 years. My art workshop is one of the 38 000 firms in the art sector in France, generating an overall turnover of EUR 8 billion and 60 000 jobs. As a professional ceramist in art professions, I have traditional know-how and are part of a perpetual creative and innovative approach. Like many of my colleagues, I use local raw materials.

As a self-teaching ceramist for 30 years, I admit that I have denied the regulation of food standards, as I find it excessive both because of the cost of analysis and by the ignorance of the designers of laws on our reality and our products. To my knowledge, I do not know any ceramist who has worked with a state officer to make any regulations.
