Afvalfonds Verpakkingen, the Dutch EPR system for packaging, welcomes the proposal to introduce a Packaging Regulation in order to serve the internal market, and hence to repeal the PPWD. Also, we welcome the main goals of the regulation as mentioned in article 1, with the remark that the internal market for the combination of the product and its packaging should be harmonised.
