Gender (gender) is practically sitting in Hungary. There are no equal opportunities-related applications, and even the fact that our association is/will be involved in this should be further concealed. Our last application for the theme was the Norwegian Civil Fund, in 2014/16, this option has now been discontinued.

Obstetric violence is also an act of violence against women. It is forgotten that this should not only be ‘explained’ at the beginning of XXI century, but also fighting for optimal delivery in support of the mother of the baby. Since the 1960s, there has been a great deal of academic literature that our birth is the dominant determinant of our life course and personality.

Many EU Member States neglect a specific form of harmful practice against women and girls: reproductive exploitation. Also known as surrogacy, reproductive exploitation is the practice whereby a couple or a single person signs a commercial contract with a woman bearing a baby she would relinquish after birth. Method. Every quote is verbatim from the organization’s own submission to the European Commission, trimmed to its opening passage and never summarized by a model. Where a submission was filed in another EU language we show the English text the European Commission publishes alongside it, labeled on the quote; the original is one click away at the source. Groupings use the respondent type the organization itself selected when filing. We deliberately do not label anyone “supportive” or “opposed” — you read what they wrote and draw your own conclusion. Organizations only, never individuals. Reused under Commission Decision 2011/833/EU; the European Commission is not liable for this reuse.
