Access to a free and fair market is important for the BDI and the export-oriented German industry. We therefore look forward to the European Commission’s initiative to review the existing regulatory framework on market access conditions in inland navigation. In this context, all hazard charges must be reduced to the same extent on national and international waterways in the EU.
