Born Free welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback on this initiative that provides an opportunity to improve the effectiveness of EU efforts against wildlife trafficking. Illegal wildlife trade poses serious threats to wildlife conservation and biosecurity, and often involves organised criminal networks which operate across international borders.
