Targeted cell and gene therapies and new mRNA platforms are paving the way for future treatments.
In the last 20 years, biotech transformed the pharmaceutical industry and enabled the development of breakthrough therapies that are live-saving or significantly improving quality of life of patients and their families. Time for Lyme ASBL welcomes the opportunity to give feedback about blood transfusion safety. Lyme disease (including Borreliosis), which is transmitted to humans by infected ticks, is the most common and increasing zoonosis in Europe.
EuropaBio welcomes the adoption of the proposal for a Regulation on SoHO revising the EU’s Blood, Tissues, and Cells (BTC) legislation.
