Summary
GeneratedCouncil Regulation (EU) 2022/2578 establishes a temporary market correction mechanism (MCM) for TTF and other virtual trading point derivatives. It activates a dynamic bidding limit when the front-month TTF price exceeds EUR 180/MWh for three days and is EUR 35 above a reference price. The regulation applies until 31 January 2025, with Article 4 effective from 15 February 2023.
