Summary
GeneratedDirective (EU) 2019/1153, as amended in 2024, gives designated national authorities direct access to centralised bank account registries and cross-border searches via BARIS. It also sets rules for FIU cooperation and transaction record formats. Member States had to transpose by 1 August 2021; the 2024 amendments are in force.
