Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 639 consultation files tracked so far (53,766 submissions, mostly 2021–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.

What they argued

European Research Area (ERA) Actfiled 27 Aug 2025source

Gender Equality Plans Recommendations: Make GEPs mandatory for all research actors, including the private sector (with a transition period for onboarding). Apply the GEP requirement also in national R&I funding systems. Back up the requirement with EU and national support to help institutions with implementation.

Quality Jobs Roadmapfiled 25 Jul 2025source

I'd like to highlight the issue of universities (e.g. technological universities in Ireland) that do not have professorial pathways, but still expect lecturing staff to research as part of career progression. This creates two main issues: firstly, lecturing staff are trying to build up research profiles in their spare time in terms of writing funding applications and publishing.
