We welcome the initiative to strengthen Europes research and technology infrastructures (TIs). To succeed, test infrastructure must be positioned as a strategic driver of innovation and industrial competitivenessnot just as support for research.

We strongly support this initiative it addresses a critical challenge for Europe's competitiveness and capacity for innovation. To succeed, technology infrastructures must be developed in close collaboration with industry and based on industrial needs and premises. It is essential that industry plays a clearer role in defining priorities, directions, and requirements.

I believe this is an excellent initiative attacking a challenge for which Europe should have great potential. The vital element of success i to develop the TI together with and on industry premisses. Make sure that it is the industry that shows the direction more than the academic and research institutions.

I welcomme very much the TI initiative. I think it is outmost important that the TI,s will be tight connected with industry. for several reasons. 1. Be relevant for industry 2. Take down barriers for usage. 3. Focus on scaling of technology. Tis must be customer driven organizations and be focused on helping more technologies to get to market.
