I am primarily concerned with Directive 2014/24/EU (Public Procurement Directive), as my unit is hardly affected by the other Directive. My comments are as follows: 1. Time-consuming procedures: Even for simple tenders, the procedures may take months, which is particularly problematic for urgent projects.

The Senate Administration for Urban Development, Building and Housing of the Land of Berlin welcomes the efforts at EU level to regulate short-term rentals in particular and to improve control by the competent authorities. The Land of Berlin is working on the legal and technical implementation of Regulation (EU) 2024/1028 and is well on track.
