Genetic engineering opponents often argue that consumers must have the freedom of choice. So they can support GMO-free agriculture. But how is the situation perceived from the other side? I consciously don't buy food products that bear the label "GMO-free", I would rather die. However, when it comes to milk, it's really difficult.

This whole charade is just ridiculous. I am a researcher in Austria, with lots of collaborations and outsourced work overseas because everything is so strictly regulated in the EU - and thus not feasible to do within reasonable time frames within the EU.
