Mr MGEN welcomed the initiative of the European Commission and DG GROW C.2 to revise the EU public procurement directives. Founded in 1946, MGEN is today the first mutual society for public service employees. The regulation of public procurement concerns very much the activity of the mutual society.

Convinced that sport is a major lever for prevention and social cohesion, MGEN called for the removal of barriers that limit access to physical and sporting activity for all. There are many real barriers to people’s health and well-being. Today, physical linactivity is a major public health challenge in Europe, responsible for a significant share of preventable chronic diseases.
