What they argued

Road vehicles: maximum weights and dimensionsfiled 21 Feb 2022PDFsource

Every year in Europe more than 270 000 semi-trailers have been transferred from road to rail thanks to the MODALOHR system. This corresponds to a saving of more than 245 million kilometres of road journeys. The European Commission is planning to amend the Weights and Dimensions Directives, and in particular to increase the authorised length of semi-trailers from 13.6m to 14.92m or even 15.25m.

Is this your organization?

Everything on this page comes from Lohr Industrie’s own submissions to the European Commission — we have added nothing and interpreted nothing. If something is wrong or out of date, email info@policyspeak.com and we will correct it. If you are an individual named in a record, our privacy policy sets out your rights to correction, objection and removal.

Quotes are verbatim from submissions published by the European Commission, trimmed to their opening passage and never summarized by a model. Organizations only, never individuals. Reused under Commission Decision 2011/833/EU; the European Commission is not liable for this reuse.
