The European Digital Decade objectives are excellent and ambitious: massive skills digitalization, 100% online governments, fully cloud-enabled businesses with robust technological infrastructures. These directions are right for modernizing Europe. However, the elephant in the room remains major: all these objectives integrate no digital sovereignty dimension.
