GSK supports a modernisation of the EU general pharmaceutical legislation which ensures a robust, agile and predictable regulatory framework, and which embraces and clearly recognises innovation in addition to facilitating access to new innovative medicines and vaccines for the benefit of patients and society.
We welcome the European Commissions (EC) initiative to develop an ambitious and comprehensive Biotech Act that positions Europe as a global leader in biotechnology. We ask the EC to take a focused and tailored approach to healthcare biotechnology within the broader EU biotech strategy.
GSK welcomes the proposal for a European Health Data Space (EHDS). We support the EU’s efforts to enable citizens and patients to access and control their health data, whilst enabling researchers and innovators access to health data in a secure way. Privacy of patient data is a critical issue.
GSK welcomes the opportunity to comment on the revised EU F-gas proposal. For over 50 years GSK has led the field in respiratory research, developing medicines that have transformed treatment and helped people across the world to breathe more easily.
