In the opinion of the Pro Kolej Foundation, the proposed extension of the mandate of the European Union Agency for Railways, while having positive effects, may also have a negative impact on the flexibility and competitiveness of the railway system.
Pro Kolej Foundation supports the initiative covering block exemptions based on Articles 93 and 108 of the Treaty. Our support for the project exempting selected types of aid from the notification requirement is primarily aimed at supporting the development of sustainable intermodal transport within the European Union.
