ENAIRE welcomes the consultation to contribute to the EU Aviation Strategy and considers its effectiveness will depend on a set of closely interlinked priorities: 1.ENAIRE strives for the full and effective implementation of the Single European Sky, key enabler to address current capacity constraints, improve network performance and reduce structural inefficiencies.

To improve the synergies between the civil and military R&D, the proposed White Paper outlines three possible approaches: (1) strengthening and advancing the current framework; (2) removing the exclusive focus on civil applications in selected parts of the successor programme to Horizon Europe; and (3) creating an instrument with a focus on dual-use research and development.
