Political context: The EiiF study estimates an annual technical insulation energy savings potential in European industry of 160 TWhequivalent to the annual energy consumption of 10 million EU households and with the potential to reduce 40 Mt CO-eq. emissions, based on upgrading insulation performance to EN 17956 Energy Efficiency Class C.
